Acacia Design with giraffe

” This new range of 100 % silk scarves, 90cm x 90cm each with hand-rolled and sewn hems were originally hand painted artworks done for the private Game Lodge in Botswana, Sabi-Sabi. The lodge is situated in the Delta with all the original water colour artworks in each suite throughout the lodge. The original artworks were then high resolution scanned and made into these unique silk scarves. This selection are the Limited Edition Series.

” Acacia Design with Giraffe” : The Acacia tree known famously with its silhouette to signify an African landscape. Giraffes are always found nibbling with their extended necks on the fresh tops of the trees. The bright yellow Acacia pom-pom flowers as a botanical element seen with its seedpods and thorns drawn in pencil. Often found at night, are little creatures looking for cover in the Acacia branches, curled up are the African Bush-baby and during the day plenty, cheeky yellow-billed hornbills eating the seeds off the ground and making a noise.”
